PALS Prerequisite

If all prerequisites are not met at the start of the course, you will not be able to attend the course scheduled:

Requirements for PALS Course:

–       Proof of Current AHA PALS (and BLS, if applicable) Certification

–       2020 AHA PALS Provider Manual (and 2020 BLS Provider Manual, if applicable)can be purchased at our center or online just let us know ahead of time to make sure we have it in stock.

–       Pre-Assessment Results Page

–       Certificate of Completion for Precourse Self-Assessment and Video Lessons

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO TAKE THE PRE-ASSESSMENT & WATCH THE PRECOURSE VIDEOS:

  1. Create an account with AHA eLearning:

  1. Login and launch test(Please be sure to log in to your account first or you will receive an error message accessing the pre-assessment link)
  2. PALS Pre-Assessment and Precourse work (Watch the videos made available once the pre-assessment has been completed)

  1. Pre-Assessment Results Page and Certificate of Completion must be emailed to us prior to class – Either take a screenshot of the documents or download the both and send them as an attachment. The Pre-Assessment Results Page is available at the end of the pre-assessment and includes your name and percentage correct.  The Certificate of Completion is available once the precourse work videos and survey have been completed (please note that the videos can take up to 3 hours to complete).  This is a requirement from the AHA and necessary to be completed and submitted to our office prior to the start of class.
